I’ve watched the first 3 of Brandon Sanderson’s 2020 Creative Writing Lectures at BYU now, and I guess this is just my response. Once again, given that this is personal “my process” stuff and not really something a hypothetical reader would need if they’re following along my fake MFA, so I’m putting putting it behind the paywall. I’ll finish On Writing by Stephen King soon and finish my responses on it. My first drafts, subsequent drafts, responses to fiction (that aren’t super personal) and writing exercises will remain freely accessible of course.

For the purposes of anyone following along this I Can’t Afford An MFA exercise… Watch the first 3 lectures here and write your own response. I’m saving the Q&As til last, partly because I don’t trust them and partly because they’re easier to run through and I want to frontload everything.
